‘Star Wars 7’ Opening Sequence Revealed

The closer we get to the release of ‘Star Wars: The Force Awakens’, the more and more rumors and plot details that leak. After reporting character details yesterday, Making Star Wars has now revealed details about the film’s opening sequence. This rumor is obviously unconfirmed; Disney and LucasFilm hasn’t released any plot details at this time.

The film opens with a a lightsaber falling through space and landing in a desert. The weapon is discovered by Naka, a farmer who ignites the weapon and accidently causes a fire. Naka then takes the weapon to a charact known as The Vicar who is likely played by Max von Sydow. At this point, The Vicar contacts the Rebels, bringing Poe Dameron (Oscar Isaac) to the planet.

Unbeknownst to Poe Dameron, he was followed by the Empire. Poe sees stormtroopers coming and stores the lightsaber inside the little droid, BB-8 and it escapes the impending battle.

These events change the life of Stormtrooper, Finn (John Boyega), when his best friend is killed in battle and he allows innocent villagers to escape. Kylo Ren (possibly plays by Adam Driver), orders Finn to be arrested and the village destroyed.

Finn and Poe are brought to the brig of a Star Destroyer, where they make a plan to steal a TIE Fighter and escape.

As previously mentioned, this is unconfirmed at this time but, J.J. Abrams recently said that some of the rumors surrounding the project are true.

‘Star Wars: The Force Awakens’ comes to theaters December 18th, 2015 and stars John Boyega, Daisy Ridley, Carrie Fisher, Harrison Ford, Mark Hamill, Adam Driver, Oscar Isaac, Domhnall Gleeson. The film is directed by J.J. Abrams.
