Richard Linklater in Talks to Direct ‘Where’d You Go Bernadette’ Adapation

‘Boyhood’ director Richard Linklater is currently in talks to direct an adaptation of Maria Semple’s novel “Where’d You Go, Bernadette.”

Linklater is in early talks and has not fully committed to the project yet but has reportedly shown interest.

The film has been in development for some time; starting at Lionsgate until it reached its current home at Annapurna Pictures. Annapurna has financed other such films as ‘American Hustle’, ‘Foxcatcher’, and ‘Her’. ‘The Hunger Games’ producer Nina Jacobson has also joined the project as a producer.
