Channing Tatum and Chris Pratt to Star in Male ‘Ghostbusters’

After plans that an all male ‘Ghostbusters’ would be made with Channing Tatum staring and producing, Chris Pratt is expected to sign on to star as well.

Yesterday it was announced that Sony has plans to launch a male version of ‘Ghostbuster’ alongside the female one that is currently filming. It was also said that Channing Tatum will star and produce the film. The movie is said to be a part of an expanded Ghostbusters universe that includes the female cast. The universe is said to include prequels and sequels.

Now it is being reported that Chris Pratt, who is a long-time friend of Tatum, will be joining the team. The project was spawned from the real-life relationship of the two actors. If this ends up happening, this will be the yet another massive franchise that Pratt has found himself in. After breaking out in Marvel’s ‘Guardians of the Galaxy’, the actor is set to appear in ‘Jurassic World’, ‘The Magnificent Seven’ and is Steven Spielberg’s favorite to replace Harrison Ford in the Indiana Jones movies.
