While attending the Lucca Film Festival this past week, Jeremy Irons who plays Alfred Pennyworth in ‘Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice’ shed some light on the script for the movie.
Giving little away about the actual plot for the highly anticipated super hero movie, Irons did have this to say:
“The next Batman has an amazing screenplay. It’s a blockbuster written from the heart.”
The screenplay was written by Chris Terrio, Zack Snyder and David S. Goyer.
Back in December, Jeremy Irons spoke about portraying a very different and “hands-on” butler that fans of the movies haven’t seen in the past. He also hinted at the character’s Royal Marines background which is portrayed in the comics.
‘Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice’ comes to theaters March 25, 2015 and stars Henry Cavill, Ben Affleck, Jason Momoa, Amy Adams, Gal Gadot, Diane Lane, Jesse Eisenberg, Jeremy Irons, Holly Hunter, Laurence Fishburne, and Ray Fisher. The film is directed by Zac Snyder.
