Ron Howard’s ‘Inferno’ to Begin Shooting this April

Ron Howard’s adaptation of Dan Brown’s best selling novel ‘Inferno’ is set to begin filming in Florence, Italy at the end of April.

The production is expected to begin filming sometime at the end of the month and run until mid-May. After Florence, the production will move to Venice and then to Istanbul, Turkey.

The cast for the film was announced last month with Tom Hanks returning as symbologist Robert Langdon and ‘The Theory of Everything’ star Felicity Jones signing on as Dr. Sienna Brooks. Jones character helps Robert Langdon to stop a terrorist plot to unleash a virus and to help him regain his memory. In order to stop this, they must solve clues influenced by Dante’s ‘Inferno’.

‘Inferno’ comes to theaters October 14, 2015 and stars Tom Hanks, Felicity Jones, Ben Foster, Omar Sy, Irrfan Khan and Sidse Babett Knudsen. The film is directed by Ron Howard.
