Fresh off the news that Disney is making a live-action version of ‘Mulan’, the mouse house is currently developing a live-action ‘Winnie the Pooh’.
Alex Ross Perry has been hired to write an adaptation for the movie which will focus on an adult Christopher Robin. Perry was reportedly hired after pitching the story to Disney.
Disney licensed the rights to the A.A. Milne created character in 1961 and has since launched a tv show and four animated films about Winnie the Pooh.
Disney has had huge success with its live-action remakes with hits such as ‘Alice in Wonderland’, ‘Maleficent’, and ‘Cinderella’.
