Natalie Portman is set to star in the upcoming drama “Jackie” which details the first four days of the former first lady’s life after her husband President John. F. Kennedy was assassinated.
The film is set to go into production toward the end of 2015 with Portman’s “Black Swan” director Darren Aronofsky producing and Pablo Larrain possibly directing. The rights to the film are expected to be one of the hottest tick items at this year’s Cannes Film Festival.
The film will detail those four tragic days after Jacqueline Kennedy lost her husband but gained the love of a nation.
