After Focus Features revealed the first photo of Eddie Redmayne in ‘The Danish Girl’ last week, the studio has now given the movie a release date.
The Tom Hooper directed film has been given a Nov. 27 release date, just in time for movie award season. The film will open in exclusive engagements in New York and Los Angeles with a potential wide release at a later date.
In the film, Redmayne will be playing Danish artist Lili Elbe who was one of the first people to undergo a sex-change operation.

‘The Danish Girl’ comes to theaters November 27, 2015 and stars Eddie Redmayne, Amber Heard, Alicia Vikander and Matthias Schoenaerts. The film is directed by Tom Hooper.
