There has been a lot of speculation over who would win the coveted role as Spider-Man/Peter Parker in Marvel and Sony’s reboot. Yesterday, the studios confirmed that Tom Holland will play the webslinger in the Marvel Cinematic Universe.
‘Captain America: The Winter Soldier’ directors Joe and Anthony Russo will be taking the Avengers reins from Joss Whedon, directing part 1 and 2 of ‘Avengers: Infinity War’.
With Marvel’s Phase 2 movies coming to an end with the release of the ‘Avengers: Age of Ultron’ and ‘Ant-Man’, it is now time to start making the movies for Phase 3, which looks to be starting sooner, rather than later. ‘Captain America: Civil War’ is begin reported that shooting on the film will begin on April 1 and an official synopsis has been revealed.
At Disney’s Shareholders meeting yesterday, they revealed a huge amount of information about Star Wars, Frozen and the point of this post which is the epic Hulk vs. Hulkbuster scene in ‘Avengers: Age of Ultron’. This movie is shaping up to possibly be the most epic movie Disney has ever been a part of.
After the third ‘Avengers: Age of Ultron’ trailer debuted last week, Marvel has announced that it set a record for the most views in 24 hours. The trailer gained 35 million views in a day, beating the record previously set by the last teaser trailer for the movie which received 34.3 million views.
Yesterday, Chris Evans and Chris Pratt made good on their Super Bowl bet by visiting the Seattle Children’s Hospital with Evans dressed as Captain America. Chris Pratt visited Christopher’s Haven in Boston, MA last month, visiting children dressed as Star Lord from ‘Guardians of the Galaxy’.
The two superhero actors made a Super Bowl bet, vowing that one of them would visit a children’s hospital of the others choosing whilst in costume. Chris Pratt’s Seahawks lost the big game. After the game, the actors agreed that they would visit both Christopher’s Haven and Seattle’s Children’s Hospital together.

Entertainment Tonight scored exclusive footage and interviews with the cast members of Marvel’s ‘Avengers: Age of Ultron’. In the footage, fans get a glimpse at Quicksilver taking out Captain America, the Scarlet Witch using her powers on the Black Widow and what appears to be Wolverine claws.

After the release of the character posters for Iron Man, the Hulk, Black Widow, Thor, and Nick Fury for the ‘Avengers: Age of Ultron’ movie were released last week, fans are now getting posters of Captain America and Hawkeye.

Spider-Man is set to make his first Marvel appearance in ‘Captain America: Civil War’ which also features Iron Man. This could lead to a Tony Stark appearance in the reboot and the site is reporting that a major scene takes place between the web crawler and the billionaire. The scene is going to show Spider-Man and Iron Man facing off as a sort of audition to get into the Avengers.
‘The Sinister Six’ movie that is scheduled for Nov. 11, 2016 is rumored to be cancelled, along with all of the other Spider-Man spin-offs currently in development at Sony. Fear not though because the Sinister Six are expected to make their first big screen appearance together in the reboot.
