After getting our first look at Harrison Ford in the epic trailer for Star Wars: The Force Awakens, fans have been eagerly awaiting the moment when Princess Leia and Luke Skywalker are properly revealed. In a new photo from a what is most likely a costume fitting, feast your eyes on Carrie Fisher as Princess Leia!
Despite reports that the original cast will be featured in the next trailer, new reports are claiming that Harrison Ford, Carrie Fisher, and Mark Hamill won’t be featured in any of the advertising for ‘Star Wars: The Force Awakens’.
A reporter from /film is claiming that Disney and LucasFilm are going with original plans not to feature the original cast in advertising for the upcoming film to focus more energy on introducing new characters. The advertising is expected to rely more heavily on newcomers to the franchise Oscar Isaac, Daisy Ridley, John Boyega, Adam Driver and unknown characters played by Lupita Nyongo’o, Domhnall Gleeson and Max von Sydow.
In addition to wanting to introduce audiences to these new characters, the filmmakers also claim that the new series isn’t about the original characters. They are also wishing to maintain an air of mystery about the films.
Rumors claim that the next Star Wars trailer is set to debut along with ‘Avengers: Age of Ultron’ when it is released on May 1. As of now, nothing has been confirmed by the filmmakers, Disney, and LucasFilm.

Rumors are circulating that fans are going to get a new taste of the upcoming Star Wars film this may and the trailer will feature original cast members Harrison Ford, Mark Hamill and Carrie Fisher. In a report from Latino Review, the new trailer is set to debut with ‘Avengers: Age of Ultron’ when it is released in theaters on May 1, 2015.
This would make sense because both films are released by Disney and both were ranked as the most anticipated movies of 2015 by Fandango. If this turns out to be true, this will be the first time that fans have seen these actors playing these character on the big screen since ‘Return of the Jedi’. As of now, Disney or LucasFilm haven’t confirmed this.
