Earlier this week, many projected that Jurassic World would earn somewhere in the ballpark of $125 million range for the weekend. After a massive $83 million haul on Friday, Jurassic World is now being projected to earn between $180-$200 million.
Universal has released the official synopsis and a photo of upcoming movie ‘Jem and the Holograms’. The movie is based off of the 1980s animated tv show of the same name.
As a small-town girl catapults from underground video sensation to global superstar, she and her three sisters begin a one-in-a-million journey of discovering that some talents are too special to keep hidden. In Universal Pictures’ ‘Jem and the Holograms’, four aspiring musicians will take the world by storm when they see that the key to creating your own destiny lies in finding your own voice.
In the photo, it shows Jem and her band on stage in front of a sold out crowd. Fans can also submit artwork and videos to the movies official website, along with their social media handle. Stay tuned for when the trailer debuts!
‘Jem and the Holograms’ comes to theaters October 23, 2015 and stars Aubrey Peeples, Stefanie Scott, Hayley Kiyoko, Aurora Perrineau, Ryan Guzman, Molly Ringwald, Juliette Lewis, Nicholas Braun, and Isabella Kai Rise. The film is directed by Jon M. Chu.
Scarlett Johansson has signed on to star in Universal Pictures’ adaptation of ‘The Psychopath Test’. The book of the same name was written by Jon Ronson.
The book is about how how the medical professional attempt to diagnose and find serial killers based on psychopathic traits. As of now, it is unknown which character that Johansson will portray.
Jay Roach is set to direct and produce the film. Imagine Entertainment will serve as a producing partner.
You can look for Scarlett Johansson when she appears in ‘Avengers: Age of Ultron’ and ‘The Jungle Book’ later this year.
